Unique versions of our most popular humbuckers custom laser etched and individually hand painted.
Every month we will add a limited number of truly one-off collector’s pieces to our website, each one featuring custom artwork designed, etched and hand painted by our in-house artist, Dan Abrahams. These will all be popular models from our standard pickup range and will feature the most commonly requested specifications, appealing to both players and collectors alike.
Whenever you see custom designs appear on our pickups for customers and artists, it’s Dan who works through the designs and, more often than not, comes up with completely original artwork.
All of the multi-layer powder coat work that produces the full-colour images we etch into the covers and bobbins are original techniques devised by Dan here at Bare Knuckle.
We’ve now taken that process a step further, with Dan actually adding a hand-painted finish to the etched artwork, creating a totally unique piece for the player wanting to make the ultimate statement, or the collector looking for individual custom art.
