Cobra Strat Prewired Pickguard Wins Gold!
It's tough here at BKP, surrounded by all these awards. We're running out of room on the shelf here, where do we balance our brews or put the sweet trolley in the workshop?
In all seriousness, we're absolutely thrilled that our Cobra Coil prewired pickguard has won us the Gold Performance Award from Guitar World Magazine. Chris Gill, who reviewed us, praised the ease with which the BKP user can get the prewired Strat pickguard onto the guitar, and said of the pickup:
"The bass and treble frequencies are boosted, providing round bass thump and exceptionally crisp and vibrant treble while the mids remain smooth and full. The overall frequency range is much wider than typical vintage-style Strat tones, sounding more like a fat P90 with a modern metal edge".
Which is great, as that's exactly what we're going for! It's such a great feeling to see our hard work paying off, and to win another gold makes us all feel warm inside. It's so rewarding and it's why we do this - to make everyone happy and create great, easily achieved tone!
